Writing, the kind to capture and keep and treasure, seems to create itself. Suddenly, a thought enters my mind though it is not like the other thoughts. It’s a word or concept becoming a string of words into a developed idea that has a life of its own. These must be put on paper before lost, maybe forever. When they are not captured, when they are lost, I as a writer experience a loss. At the same time, each writing captured and developed, however short or long, comes to life with value hard to describe, it’s own value, precious and forever.
